Learning Dispositions

To support our students in their learning, teachers provide each student feedback on their progress in four areas – resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness and relating.

The presence of these specific dispositions in a learner can:

  • enhance their capacity to learn.
  • increase their willingness to grapple and persevere with and make sense of discipline-based knowledge and content.
  • increase their willingness to persist with developing skills and capabilities that are experienced as difficult or challenging.
